Just got home. The beach with the family & family friends was...interesting. I couldn't really go outside though because of my sunburn, which is now painfully peeling. It hurts really bad, to the point that when I got out of the shower last night, my back was bleeding.

We went to Jockey's Ridge, which was a lot of fun. It was so pretty, but my sunburn from Topsail was still really bad and being out in the sun made it blister. I'm talking A LOT of little tiny blisters all over my back & my tummy. They hurt really bad, so I had to walk back to the gift shop with Mommy earlier than everyone else.

But, on the way home from Jockey's Ridge, we did get to go to the bead store in Nagshead. (I don't know if that's two words or one.) I spent way too much money in there.

I only actually went out on the beach three times, and they were all after the sun went down. We set off fireworks last night for our early 4th of July. I love the beach in the dark. It's pretty.

Some highlights were the group conversations about getting laid-adults included, (We had Hawaian night at the house. Crazy stuff.) watching the adults when they were drunk off their ass, and laughing at Zak as his parents screamed at him for drinking his mom's whole glass of wine. There was more alcohol in that house than I've ever seen in one place before in my life, including the liquor store. Each family bought like 13 bottles. The good part was that when the adults got drunk enough, you could ask them if you could "try" anything and they'd give it to you. I love the beach trips.

I read 3 books this week & watched so many effin movies. I had nothing better to do when everyone was at the beach. I ate a lot. I'll have to run it off tonight. I forgot to pack my sneakers and I'm going through running withdrawal but it's too hot to run right now.

Got to go unpack. Tootles.
